Fellow health innovators,

We all want to transform healthcare. But too often, our cutting-edge solutions fall short because we miss the most critical element: the human perspective.

I recently explored how while patient design is crucial, it’s often poorly executed. Relying on small subsets of KOLs and patient influencers rather than your solution’s ultimate beneficiaries and users is misleading and expensive.

Here are 3 key takeaways:

  1. Involve YOUR patients, not just any patients.
  2. Expert panels and market research have limited value for true product fit.
  3. To create human-centered solutions, engage with your real users - build enduring patient end-user communities around your solution.

Involving patients in design is vital, but needs rethinking. Read my article and let’s shake things up together! 🙌 https://lnkd.in/d8fvWW5s

How do you incorporate patient perspectives into your innovation process? I’d love to hear your thoughts.
